Pretty decent food. I'm from London and been searching for nice Chinese food be at takeaway or restaurants. The staff here is super nice and the delivery came super fast. Food had flavour and everything was tasty. Prices are decent. I ordered duck udon noodles, salt and pepper wings with Chinese leaf stir fry veg. Not too salty either. Highly recommend
Fantastic little dine-in/takeaway place in Pokesdown, Bournemouth. Black Pepper beef was amazing and lots of it. Crunchy green peppers were perfect. There was so much beef chow mein that we could take it home, after 2 plate fulls! Staff were very friendly and welcoming too and we were not hurried to leave or pushed to buy more than we wanted. Will definitely be eating here again.
We ordered a takeaway based on recommendation from a dear friend and woweeeeeeeee it was incredible. Reasonably priced and incredibly delicious. We tried sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, special chowmein, salt and chilli prawns, chicken satay and crispy prawn rolls. What a treat! Everything was fresh, delicious & authentic. Popped in on a Saturday afternoon. Helen the owner is very chatty. It’s a small business that started two months ago. She and my wife got on fire, talking away so much that she forgot to ask if we wanted drinks, and ended up giving me a bottle of lager free. The chilli and salt squid is always someone we order and it’s our tester of the basics and whether we would go back. We loved it. Tender squid, crispy batter and a good level of mild spice. The chicken noodles (rice vermicelli noodles) was very light, not oily, which shows good cooking technique. The won ton soup noodles and proper made made dumplings. The taste profile is not heavily seasoned, as it should be, because Chinese food has a range of tastes and even a family meal should have a spread of flavours. Eating at home is normally not just one same dish for everyone. Yes, there are “Chinese takeaway/restaurant” food that dates back before the 80’s. I’m interested to see how their other dishes come out.
